A Year in Freiburg
Lake Constance at the border of Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Located in the southeast of Germany, Freiburg im Breisgau is a nice city with a little more than 200,000 inhabitants. Just on the borders of the Black Forest, it is known to be the sunniest city of Germany, and the proximity of the French and Swiss borders offer an interesting mix of cultures.
I had the chance to spend about ten months in Freiburg, studying abroad. This trip was an unforgetable experience, and I will share my best memories of this time through my favourite pictures. I was really impressed by this city, but the whole experience goes way beyond that. Because a city isn't a city without it's inhabitants, I have to say that the people I met there played a major role in making me enjoy every moment of my stay in Freiburg.
So I packed my stuff and on September 30th 2008, I was at Montreal’s national airport (YUL), waiting for my flight. What came afterwards is now for you to see right here!
